We are a promotional company situated in the heart of Louisville. We value strong relationships with our employees, partners and customers. We are great at what we do and we live by our core values.

We take pride in helping our clients find the right branded clothing & promotional items to give their brand style and visibility.

We believe that a personal touch, attention to detail and a focus on quality has been missing in our industry. It’s how Hugh Goodson ran his business 90 years ago, and how we intend to do it today.

We have two goals: Make it easy for you to find the right product, and make the process of ordering clothing and supplies enjoyable.

Got it, so where do I fit in?

Goodson Clothing & Supply Co. is passionate about helping businesses grow. We help our customers use branded clothing & promotional supplies to create engaged employees and loyal customers. We don’t just sell any product, we get to know our clients personally and explore how the right products can help achieve their employee and customer goals.

We’ve grown every year since we started in 2015, but we are not satisfied. We have aggressive plans to continue to grow through adding people to our team who believe in our vision and improving our products and services.


We are looking to add a Marketing Intern to our team. The Marketing Intern must ‘get’ the Goodson brand and share our values. They must have an interest in creating a lifestyle brand and building a crowd of fans with current and potential customers. They must understand their role to create a seamless experience between marketing and sales as we look for customers who are of ‘like-mind’.

Specifically, they will support the following initiatives:

  • Expert and quality focused brand positioning
  • New customer acquisition
  • Existing customer communication and education
  • New Customer Guide acquisition

Here are our current marketing activities, but, as you know these can and will change:

The Brand Herald Podcast – our Owner Landon Wade interviews customers and leaders in business about building awesome brands. Support with scheduling, communication and post editing, posting and promotion.

The Partner Series – we host a monthly virtual meeting with one of our curated Partners, where we invite customers to join and see many items they can use to engage their customers and employees. Support with scheduling, communication and post editing, posting and promotion.

The Partner Series LIVE! – Twice per year we put on a small customer appreciation event with a small trade show. We choose a cool local spot, provide free food and drinks and invite 10-12 curated partners to set up a table so customers can touch, feel and see items they can use to engage their customers and employees. Support with scheduling, logistics, communication and post editing, posting and promotion.

News & Blogs – Once per month we record a conversation on a topic we feel will be interesting and relevant to our customers. Support with scheduling, communication and post editing, posting and promotion.

Website – We post the things listed above on the website as well as put some other dynamic content on the site such as case studies and more.

Social Media – We ‘distribute’ the things listed above via social media, primarily on Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram. But we are open to other methods, platforms and approaches.

We are looking for someone who…

Understands and is committed to doing GOODSON READY work
Loves to take ONE MORE STEP to invest in customer relationship and experience
Wants to SEE PEOPLE and make them feel valued, respected and heard
Will BE A PARTNER to everyone they work with, creating mutual benefit and trust.

The following would be great, but is not required:

  • Experience with an ASI/PPAI distributor or supplier in the promotional products industry
  • Background in a consultative sales process with hospitality/customer experience focus
  • Ability to engage and build recurring revenue with an existing book of business
  • Success in metrics driven environment, EOS familiarity a plus!
  • Strong software tool skills (i.e. Slack, CommonSKU, Zoom etc.)
